Bryce Alan Wheeler

Bryce Alan Wheeler, 26, of Orrick, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, MO. Bryce was born on September 9, 1995 in Liberty, MO, to Brett Alan Wheeler and Jody Lynn (Cook) Wheeler.

Bryce had lived his entire life in Orrick and Ray County. He attended school in Orrick and graduated from Orrick High School with the class of 2014. He was currently employed doing various jobs at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond, MO. Bryce was one of those people that had an infectious smile and laugh that drew people to him. He had a big heart and loved giving a helping hand to anyone he could. Everyone loved him.  Bryce enjoyed playing golf and video games and being with his family and friends having a good time.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great grandparents, and special cousins, Tyler Vaughn and Westlynn Shearer.

He is survived by his father, Brett A. Wheeler (Debra) of Kansas City, MO; his mother, Jody L. Wheeler (Justin) of Orrick, MO; paternal grandparents, Alan and Patricia Wheeler of Camden, MO; maternal grandparents, Larry and Kathy Cook of Orrick, MO; great grandparents, Bill Wheeler of Kansas City, MO, Rose Adkins of Independence, MO, and Carol Queen of Bethany, MO, and David and Diana Schreier of Camden, MO; brother, Brady Wheeler, and sister, Isabel Wheeler, both of Orrick, MO; step siblings, John Moore, David Moore, Chris Moore, Jadelyn Schreier, Colt Schreier, Chase Schreier and Madilyn Schreier. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation and viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2021 at Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Rev. Art Endsley officiating. Burial will be in South Point Cemetery near Orrick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Bryce Wheeler Memorial Fund and payable to Ashley Mahurin, organizer of Bryce Wheeler Go Fund Me Account.
