Dear Sandy and your precious family:
The Lord knows you hurt right now as you grieve the loss of your dear mother. She has received her reward in heaven and visits now with Jesus face to face. Oh that some day we too will see his face and will sit at His feet. I have so many things I want to talk to Him about. We do have such a gift that was given to us in that The Holy Spirit lives in us believers. We can walk with Jesus and talk with Him right here and now. Tell Him your concerns and ask for His guidance. He talks to us in scripture and many unique ways that only He can do. He will hold you when you hurt and rejoice with you when you are happy. My prayer is that each of you feel his love and that He surrounds you with a warmth and peace that only He can give.

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

May Jesus be with each of you today and from this day forward, Amen

Words can not express the shock and sadness of this loss. Paul was a great friend and always had a great smile and attitude whenever he was around. He will be greatly missed. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the services. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. May god bless.

We were honored to have worked with Paul for several years. His friendly and compassionate manner set a wonderful example for each one of us. We know his passing is a loss for his Cross Tire co-workers, but exceedingly for Susan and his children.
Our thoughts are with you all.
The Employees of Worlds of Fun

I went to school with Paul and graduated with him in 1980. After we graduated I lost touch with him because I moved away, I missed him but I saw him at the 25th reunion and 2010 would have been our 30th Class Reunion and he’ll be missed his outgoing wit and humor. I hope that you will remember the good times and forget the bad and take one day at a time.
Roger Woods

Paul Eugene was the first man I ever had a crush on, from the time I could walk I think. I always wanted to marry Paul Eugene. My Uncle Brian loved to tease me about that. I could go on for hours about how Paul always touched my life. What a laugh! What a smile! What a man, what a friend. Paul was always bragging on his kids too, I hope they all know that! No one did a pair of Wranglers justice like Paul Eugene. I have always loved the Lane family. They are one of a kind. My heart goes out to all of you!! I have a smile on my face just thinking about all the good times, I hope you all can find that too. My heart is with you.
My heart goes out to Art and ‘David’ as well. Find happiness in all your great memories.
Erin Kistner

Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was the kindest person I ever met, with a smile that could light up any room. It was an honor to know him.
Brendon Quarles

My friend I will miss you. Susan, and kids, your husband and father was one of my best friends for the last 20 years and he never stopped telling all about your lives. He was so proud of you.
Paul Andersen

I was not fortunate enough to meet Paul but I have met his daughters. My daughter, Janna, is a student at MSU, where Taylor and Chelsea also attend. We met Taylor at our SOAR session this summer and Chelsea is Janna’s RA. Paul obviously did something right as a parent because these young ladies have so much going for them. They are bright, beautiful and just genuinely nice people. I know he must have been extremely proud of them.

And never forget that you have so many people who love you and care about you. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them and let them help you. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do.
Julie Kujawa

We knew Paul for a very long time. He will always be remembered by us. He was a very kind hearted friend and we will always be thankful to God for this friend He blessed us with. Paul was always very proud of his wife and expecially his children. The times recently we have gotten together he spent much of the time talking about the projects Susan was doing, he was so proud of Taylor being Homecoming Queen at MSU and being an awesome singer like her mama, he talked of Chelsea and her athleticism and friendliness and I often reminded him that Chelsea was the middle child. He talked about Paul Jr. and his horse shows and horse back riding. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief. Steve and I are sharing the burden of this great grief with you. We love all of you very much.
Steve and Janet Williams

To Taylor and Chelsea,
We love you so much. We are so sorry you’ve lost your Daddy. Susan and PT, we are thinking of you and have many lifting you all up in prayer during this time. God bless and comfort you.
Aunt Suzi & Uncle John

Susan and family,
Words can’t express the profound sense of loss we feel. Paul was a respected colleague and friend and his presence at C&M will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time, but we know God has you in his loving arms and will not let you go. We pray beautiful memories will help sustain you through your sorrow.
In Christ’s Love,
Rayce and Carlene Farthing

Susan and Family,
We’re so sorry to hear about Paul. Lola and I were out the other day, turning into Horseplay and seen you and Paul next to the mailbox, you were out picking it up. It’s difficult to understand why such events happen, I guess we as humans are not suppose to. This email seems quite impersonal, but recently I broke my leg and can’t get out much. But you and your children are in our thoughts and prayers. Stay strong.
God Bless,
Randall & Lola Davis

I didn’t know Paul really well, but knew Francine and Paul, Sr. and knew the kids from them. I know this is a real blow to Paul’s family and I want to extend my condolences to them. Just remember God is in control and will comfort all your sorrows. Let Him be your rock!
Carolyn Lawrence

I was greatly saddened to hear of Paul’s passing. Through all the years of working and playing together at Worlds of Fun and the many times we visited at school about his children, it was always a time of humor, honesty, and courtesy. My sincerest condolences go out to you, Susan, Taylor, Chelsea, and Paul in this difficult time. Paul will always be remembered by his friends as a good man with a real love of life and joy in his family.
