Terry Ray Shoemaker, 43 or rural Orrick, Mo., formerly of Kansas City and Excelsior Springs, passed away Wednesdsay, May 5, 2010 at his home.
Terry was born on Sept. 22, 1966 in Kansas City, Mo. He had lived most of his life in the Kansas City area and the Excelsior Springs area before moving to Orrick three years ago.
He was a graduate of Leeton High School in Leeton, Mo., with the class of 1984.
He had been a waiter for Waffle House Restuarants in Kansas City.
Terry was a very kind hearted person and love his animals.
Survivors include his father, William Kinne of Lowry City, Mo.; his mother, Gloria Newman of Orrick, Mo.; brothers, William Kinne, III of California, and Richard Kinne of Knoxville, Mo.; sisters, Angela Shoemaker, Richmond, Mo., Misty Coles and Dixie Shelton, both of Orrick, Mo.; his grandparents, William and Betty Shoemaker of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and his canine babies, Poncho and Molly.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 7 at the South Point Cemetery near Orrick, with Rev. Robert Horton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick, Mo.
