August 20, 1939 – January 23, 2012

Thomas C. “Tom” Estep, 72, of Missouri City, Mo., passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at Liberty Hospital. Tom was born on August 20, 1939 in Birchton, W.Va., to Lonnie and Ruby (Slack) Estep. On December 19, 1960 he was united in marriage to Joyce Webb.

Tom attended the Family Worship Center in Excelsior Springs. He had worked at several companies in his lifetime, with the most recent being his work at an automobile transportation company.

He loved the outdoors and loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Estep, of the home; a son and fiancée, Randall Estep (Jennifer) of Missouri City, Mo.; a brother, Harry Estep of Ohio; sisters, Betty Campbell, Shirley Hardin and Barbara Roberts, all of Florida; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Missouri City Baptist Church. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Henry Alexander officiating. Inurnment will be in the Missouri City Cemetery.
