Tahkota Thomas Christiansen

Tahkota Thomas Christiansen, 18, of Orrick, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Richmond, Mo., after being struck by a vehicle along M-210 Highway.

Tahkota was born on October 6, 2000 in Corning, N.Y., to Paul Thomas Christiansen and Linda Marie (Stebbins) Alsup. He moved to Orrick in 2012 and had attended high school in Orrick. He had been employed at the Richmond KFC and Taco Bell.

Tahkota had many interests, among them was driving around on his Moped and driving tractors on the farm. He especially loved hanging out with his friends. He loved dogs and especially his dogs, Ozzy and Mila.

Tahkota is survived by his father and step mother, Paul and Crystal Christiansen of Corning, N.Y.; his mother and step father, Linda and Daniel Alsup of Orrick, Mo.; brothers, Nathan Cratsley and Joshua Cratsley, both of Corning, N.Y.; sisters, Taryn Alsup and Kinzee Alsup of Orrick, Mo., and Airyelle Christiansen of Corning, N.Y.;
paternal grandmother, Bonnie Morrison of Detroit, Mich.; paternal grandfather, Hale Christiansen of Nashville, Tenn.; maternal grandparents, Henry and Claudienne Stebbins of Corning, N.Y.; and step grandmother, Alice Alsup of Orrick, Mo. He is also survived by his dogs, Ozzy and Mila, and his cat, Chloe.

The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick, followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m., also at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.

Memorials are suggested to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation for Bi Polar disorders.
