Ronald Lee Hoskins passed away at Excelsior Springs Hospital on November 29, 2024.

Ronnie was born on January 5, 1940, to Forest and Mary Hoskins in California, Missouri. On June 22, 1961, he married the love of his life Earlene (Manns) Hoskins. The two created a beautiful life together and had three daughters, Rhonda Hoskins, Robin Rash, and Shelley Hufft, who he leaves behind.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife; parents; his brother, Forest Dean “Dino”; and his sisters, Mona and Tammy.

Ronnie worked at General Motors for over 47 years. He was a loyal Deacon of Rose of Sharon for many years and later attended Soul’s Harbour. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family, who loved him as Grandpa Up Stairs or Papa Sloth. He also loved collecting hotwheels, drinking Dr. Pepper, working on things, watching westerns, eating waffles and McChickens, and living life with his “little woman.”

While his family and friends mourn the loss, they take comfort in knowing that one day they will meet him again and know that he is happy to be with his “little woman” again.
