March 15, 1962 – August 9, 2009

Randall Eugene Norris, 47, of Orrick, passed away, August 9, 2009. He was the son of Dennis Norris and Pamala Mathews Norris of Camden, Mo.

Randall was born in Richmond, Mo., on March 15, 1962 and lived in the Orrick area his lifetime. He graduated from Orrick High School and went into farming on the family farm.

He married Robyn Wilson in 1984. He was a member of Orrick Baptist Church.

Randall is survived by his parents, a daughter, Lindsey Norris Baldwin and her husband, Jeff, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., a son, Kenneth Damon Norris of Peculiar, Mo., and a grandson, Samuel Damon Baldwin of Lee‘s Summit, Mo., a sister, Penny Norris Reynolds and husband, Randy, of Richmond, Mo., his paternal grandmother, Thelma Norris Dye, and husband, Ralph, of Higginsville, Mo.

Randall was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Norris, and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Dortha Mathews, all of Orrick.

Randall loved to farm, garden, fish and visit with friends and family and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Richmond Memory Gardens with his cousin, Ray Mathews, officiating. Randall will lie in state where friends may pay their respects from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 14th at the Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick. Memorials are suggested to Alcoholics Anonymous Richmond Chapter, Richmond , Mo., or The Harvesters Food Pantry at the Fleming Baptist Church, Fleming, Mo.
