Pamela Ann Misner

Pamela Ann (Downs) Misner, 57, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Orrick, passed away January 3, 2019 at North Kansas City Hospital following a brief illness. Pamela was born in Richmond, Mo., on July 14, 1961 to James Robert Downs and Virginia Elizabeth (Stillwell) Downs. She had lived most of her life in Orrick and had attended schools and graduated from Orrick High School. Following high school, she had attended Cosmetology School and became a hairdresser and stylist. Pamela was first married to Edward Creason of Orrick. He preceded her in death. On April 15, 2004, she was married to Kirk Misner, who survives at the home.

Pamela liked the color pink and she loved to color in coloring books. She enjoyed playing Facebook games and had a love for Diet Coke. She got a lot of pleasure out of teasing and giving her brother Bill heck. Pamela loved people and making friends, which she did so easy. Most of all, she had an unconditional love for her family and being with them.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Virginia Downs; her first husband, Edward Leon Creason; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie Good and Bill Good; sister, Pat Good; and a brother, David Downs.

She is survived by her husband, Kirk “Mickey” Misner of the home; son, Joshua Good of Orrick, Mo.; a daughter, Hannah Good of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers, William Robert Downs and wife, Kelly, of Richmond, Mo., Gary Downs and wife, Linda, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Mike Downs of Lawson, Mo.; sister, Terri Clark and husband, Artie, of Orrick, Mo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick, followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at South Point Cemetery, Orrick, Mo.
