October 19, 1946 – January 19, 2011
Marianna Clevenger, 64, of Orrick, Mo., passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital.
Marianna was born in Ray County, Mo., near Orrick on October 19, 1946, to Neil Floyd and Edith (Claypole) Barnard. She had lived most of her life in the Orrick community. She was a graduate of Orrick High School with the class of 1964. Following high school, Marianna attended the Lexington School of Cosmetology. She had been a hairdresser in Orrick for many years and was the owner of the Snip-N-Set Beauty Salon in Orrick.
Marianna was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Edith Barnard, and a brother, Russell Barnard.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Norman Barnard and Rosie, and a sister and brother-in-law, Marylin Page and Raymond; niece, Debbie Hoeppner (Mike); nephew, Ed Page; niece, Edie Page; nephew, Floyd Barnard; niece, Janet Barnard; great niece and nephews, Todd and Evan Hoeppner and Elizabeth Steele (Paul); and great great niece, Star Steele.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick. Memorial services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Private inurnment.
Memorials in her memory are suggested to any one of the following organizations, The Orrick First Baptist Church Casserole Ministry, The Orrick Fire and Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society.
