Jimmie Allen Hines, 57, of Fleming, Mo., passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital.
Jimmie was born in Kansas City, Mo., on January 17, 1961 to Jimmie Victor Hines and Linda Lois (Fox) Hines. Jimmie lived in Kansas City before moving to Orrick at the age of 11. He was a graduate of Orrick High School with the class of 1979. He had worked for many years for American Fire in Kansas City as a sprinkler fitter. Jimmie was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to go on hunting trips in Canada. He especially enjoyed time spent with his daughter and the time spent with his many special friends. His life was centered around the needs and well being and happiness of his daughter, Aspen Renee Hines.
He is survived by his daughter, Aspen Renee Hines, of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Vickie Johnson and husband, Larry, of Richmond, Mo.; and two nephews, Jerimiah Johnson and Jason Johnson, both of Fleming, Mo. Jimmie was also the loving step father of Alexis Clark and Hunter Clark and his extended family, Scott and Michelle Saucier of Liberty, Mo.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, May 16, 2018 fro 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Cremation will follow the services and inurnment will be at a later date in Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence, Mo.
