Demaris Diana Terrell, 74, of Brookfield, MO, passed away on December 29, 2021 at the University of Missouri Health Center in Columbia, MO. Dee, as she was best known by, was born on March 6, 1947 in Polo, MO, to Cecil Raymond Rowland and Mary Louise (Bales) Rowland. Dee had lived her early childhood in Leavenworth and Lansing, KS, where she attended school. She had been employed as a production worker for a number of years at a uniform manufacturing company in Brookfield.
Dee was a hard worker and was a family loving person. She enjoyed having a cold beer and being with friends. She especially loved going to and spending time at the lake. She liked cutting up and aggravating with her quick witted and sharp tongue, as she always had something to say.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Raymond Rowland and Mary Louise Rowland.
She is survived by her life partner, John Truitt of the home in Brookfield, MO; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy Good and wife, Lisa of Peculiar, MO; her siblings, Charlotte Reed, Marvis J. Clark, Paulette Green, and Austin Raymond Rowland. She also leaves behind her grandson, Taylor D. Good and his wife, Stephanie of Peculiar, MO, and her great grandchildren, Cooper Wayne Good and Watson James Good.
A celebration of life service for Dee will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 22, 2022 at the Eagles Lodge in Brookfield, MO, with Pastor Jerry Stone officiating. She will be laid to rest with her family at Rowland Cemetery near Orrick, MO.
